AKIHO United Europe is one of the branches of Akita Inu Hozonkai (Akita Dog Preservation Society, AKIHO in short) based in Europe in the Czech Republic. AKIHO is the premier breed registry and club for the Japanese Akita worldwide.
AKIHO was founded in May 1927 in Odate, Japan with the purpose of preserving and promoting the Akita Inu breed. The main goal of AKIHO today is to continue preserving and promoting the Akita Inu breed in its traditional form, while also adapting to the changing needs of modern society.
AKIHO United Europe is committed to carrying forward the mission of its headquarters in Japan and preserving the legacy of the Akita Inu breed. With a diverse membership comprising breeders and enthusiasts alike, the organization is dedicated to ensuring the preservation of the breed for future generations.

147th AKIHO Honbuten in Daisen, Japan
On 3rd May 2023 took place the 147th AKIHO Headquarters exhibition, where 153 Akitas were entered.
Following Akitas were awarded with AKIHO Meiyoshou:
- Kourin Go Sanuki Tsutsuisou (19-3557)
- Hijiri Go Sanuki Tsutsuisou (19-1651)
- Tamahagane Go Odate Sannomarusou (18-4327)
