150th AKIHO Honbuten in Takasaki, Japan

On 8th December 2024 took place the 150th AKIHO Headquarters exhibition, where 191 Akitas were entered. 
Following Akitas were awarded with AKIHO Meiyoshou:

- Mie No Daichi Go Nakagawa Sou (20-897) 

- Tsunatomi Go Murasaki Sou (19-2311)

149th AKIHO Honbuten in Odate, Japan

On 3rd May 2024 took place the 149th AKIHO Headquarters exhibition, where 170 Akitas were entered. 
Following Akitas were awarded with AKIHO Meiyoshou:

- Awa Daitei Go Jr. Matsunaga (20-1518) 

148th AKIHO Honbuten in Tokyo, Japan

On 3rd December 2023 took place the 148th AKIHO Headquarters exhibition, where 211 Akitas were entered. 
Following Akitas were awarded with AKIHO Meiyoshou:

- Shuuka Go Sanuki Tsutsuisou (19-1650) 

- Hokushuu Go Hachiko Takasaki (19-69)

- Kurozane Go Fuen No Oka (18-4148)

147th AKIHO Honbuten in Daisen, Japan

On 3rd May 2023 took place the 147th AKIHO Headquarters exhibition, where 153 Akitas were entered. 
Following Akitas were awarded with AKIHO Meiyoshou:

- Tamahagane Go Odate Sannomarusou (18-4327) 

- Kourin Go Sanuki Tsutsuisou (19-3557) 

- Hijiri Go Sanuki Tsutsuisou (19-1651)

100th HACHIKO anniversary

It is a celebration of the anniversary of the famous Japanese dog named Hachiko, who became a symbol of loyalty. Hachiko became known worldwide for his faithfulness and dedication, and his story became a symbol of unwavering love between a dog and a human. After his death,  memorial was erected in 1935 at the place where he used to wait for his owner every day.

Who can become a member of AKIHO?

Anyone can become a member of AKIHO. In AKIHO United Europe, we have members who are professional breeders, as well as members who admire and love the Akita breed, but currently don't own one

How can I become a member of AKIHO?

Joining AKIHO United Europe is very simple. Just fill out the contact form or contact us via email or social media. The next step is to verify your details, make the payment, and then you can start looking forward to your welcome letter from Japan

What are the benefits of being a member of AKIHO?

There are many advantages to being a member of AKIHO. Each member receives the AKIHO bulletin several times a year (in printed/PDF form). Additionally, as a member, you can participate in AKIHO shows throughout Europe and around the world, including attending accompanying AKIHO seminars led by official AKIHO judges and experts. And last but not least, you can contact us anytime with any questions.
